Default Looking for leather to recover doors.

I'm thinking of recovering my door panels as part of my stereo project and having some problem in finding the correct leather.
All of the local shops I've contacted don't have anything that has even a similar pattern (it's a soft leather with kind of a bumpy feel to it). I also checked with World Upholstery and they don't carry anything that is very close either.
Does anyone know of a supplier who offers the correct leather for the door panels? Since it's about the only leather in the car I guess I could deviate from the original look a bit but would like to keep it close.
Thanks much,
Rick

You can also find a black cargo shade from a 944. Nice big piece of rolled up leather. try www.944ecology.com

i think it is going to be really tough to find leather with the same embossed pattern as on the 2S.
You might be able to find a panel or two at a dismantler from a wrecked 2S, to use as a skin graft donor...
The complete panel is the same leather....although you can only see about 20% of it...maybe 15% with the hi-fi option.

Max,
That's what I'm discovering; given that it's about the only leather that is in the car it really won't matter that much to have it slightly different than OEM.
Guys, thanks for the input.

Rick,

You might also try Alan Gun Leather

They agreed to cover my DAS roll bar in leather to match my chestnut brown interior. They do a lot of work with Porsche steering wheels and may be able to help.
