"cup" wheels
Hello all.
I have found out that 3 of my rims are out of true. Two can be repaired however one rear wheel is beyond salvage. A new one is 950.00. For the price of repairing/replacing my current wheels I can purchase 4 new replica rims w/new tires. What is my best move?
Thanks!

You can get a refurbished wheel from Wheel Enhancement for a lot less than $950. You may be able to get a whole set of refurbished cup II wheels for that much. Investigate whatever replica you consider purchasing for weight of the wheel and manufacturing technique (forged vs cast). The Porsche cup wheels are relatively light and strong. Hard to beat for the price in my book.

Look in the classifieds here and on pca.org. I bought a set of (OE) four cup wheels with tires in terrific shape for a grand (thanks Alex). Stick with the original equipment if you can.
