Hi, Jon ... thanks again, Harry got back to me just this morning but I had already had a local shop look it over. I got lucky ... the tech's father is a 911 guy and he is very familiar with the cars. It got a clean bill of health, no signs of paintwork and he even took off the undertray to take a peek beneath at the rear main seal, removed the rims to check over the brakes, etc. All it needed was an AC recharge (he pressure tested the system, didn't just put a can of refrigerant in it).

If I can just get it home to Boston in one piece, all will be well. Memorial Day traffic, here I come.

good luckwith it, I hope all goes well. Take Harry's number with you. If you have trouble he is 90 minutes away and you will not find a better mechanic in this area than Harry Williams. Though he is likely to be out fishing this weekend
