Kim, that totally blows!! Sorry to hear about your loss.. I'm still picturing a part boring it's way through the decklid and into the air.. that would almost be worth the price of the rebuild!

kim,
what an absolute bummer - my heart bleeds for you and your wallet. on the flip side at least you are safe!
good luck and let us know both what you decide to do and what went wrong.
are you going up to TH on 6/4 with the miata? If so let me know....
Cheers,
Boris

Kim,
Man, that sucks. I know just a little bit about how much blood, $weat and tears you've put into YZ. One of the things that makes it such a cool car is that you've done a ton of DIY stuff, but have also 'gotten it done right' by professionals as needed.
You have shown yourself to be a man of great character. Lesser men would be pointing fingers...
Hang in there, Kim. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I know exactly how you feel Kim. A spectacular and sorry site to see. Mine went bang at a track day 9 months ago. Wiring loom fault was the cause. Hopefully only a couple more weeks to get it back fully rebuilt. Hope you have good luck with your diags and rebuild.
