Steering Wheel reach
One niggle I've had with my 993C4 is that the wheel could do with being an inch or two closer, I find myself having to move the seat forward a little further than comfortable for my legs to avoid stretching my arms too much. Might be just me
, but at 6' I can't be that far from the average. I finally got around to doing something about it this weekend, and the result is a much more comfortable driving position.
I've replaced the wheel with an Atiwe airbag wheel, which came from Cargraphic - chose them because they offer 25mm and 40mm spacers to bring the wheel a bit closer. I went for the 40mm spacer, which has worked out perfectly for me - a word of warning though, the column stalks are at fingertips distance now, which I find OK but if your hands are smaller then 40mm may be too much. The wheel was supplied by Phil Hindley at Tech9 in Liverpool (very knowledgeable on all things Porsche and has moved to third in the UK Porsche Cup series following last weekend's round in Spa, go here if you'd like to read more: Porsche Club GB Motorsport Division).
Here are a couple of pics for any who are interested, the model of wheel is called "Firenze", but there are a variety on this theme including versions with different colours if you're that way inclined:

I'd highly recommend this to anyone with a similar problem in finding a comfortable driving position.
