There was a white Turbo S at the Antique Auto Porsche/Corvette Swap Meet today at the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona .......4400 miles on the odo! Actually, I couldn't believe that someone had the guts to park it there with all those people walking by and pawing at it (including me). No owner in sight.

not for me...I know it's just a car, but the novelty of having a 993 isn't even sunk in yet...and I've had the car almost 3 years
Hell, I've got a '95 525i with 130K miles on it that I bought new and I still park it WAY out of harms way. It only has 2 door dings in almost 7 years and I still enjoy looking at it every time I make the long walk to it. I won't even get started on my 993 <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> Anyway, yesy they are just cars, but I love them dearly just the same...call me nuts <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Allen--you're not alone. I'm sure most of us on this board feel the same way about our cars. I, for one, am crazy about my p-car to the point where my gf gets jealous from time to time.
