Kinesis Supercups-Easy Polishing
#3
FastMaz,
We sell a metal polish that is impregnated in a cloth that should help. Wrap the polishing cloth around a thin but sturdy piece of wood (the wrong end of a paintbrush might work) and work as closely to the nuts as you can. Use the same procedure with a clean cloth to finish. Seal with WheelWax and you should be golden. Strong cotton swabs can help in clean up if you are real picky. Hope this helps.

Buy Fikse wheels? The fastners are on the inside. Do you ever check the tightness on the Kinesis 3 piece wheels? There is a torque spec, about 10 Lbs I am guessing. A fiend had a 3 piece wheel separate at 50 mph on the street, 6 or 7 of the fastners had sheared off, the wheel lost air, a tire blew......it could have been worse had this happened at the track, or a bad spot on the street.
I just limp along on my MY 20002 996 18" one piece wheels, OEM for Porsche by BBS. Not fastners to worry about....and they are light as the Turbo hollow spokes, cheap too!
