Post disposal of used rotors?

This might be an astonishingly blonde question (and I did search the archives):

How do you dispose of your used rotors?

I know that these cross-drilled rotors shouldn't be turned, and they're not like a master brake cylinder that can be refurbished. It just seems like an aweful lot of 'stuff' to just toss into the nearest trash bin.

Hi Robert:

Seans' suggestion is an excellent one provided that your cups or glasses are large enough not to fall through,... Doorstops aren't bad either. If you are interested in improving your upper body strength, these can be used as frisbees provide that you wear steel-toed boots and have a safe place to practice,...

Truthfully? We have three 55 gallon drums here of worn out metal parts (cranks, cases, rotors, etc) that simply are picked up by the metal recyclers each week and are hopefully made into something useful again.

I know better than to tempt fate! For me, it'd be a 'wall of dented hoods waiting to happen' <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
