Mines off, the local Porsche repair shop owner has the same car as I and his is off.

Mine will stay off until a downside is proven.

Hi guys, thanks for useful opinions, today is near 45 degree C here, I will take the tray off this afternoon, and leave it off!
The only way to stay cool today, is what I just did: Jump in the sea!
Have a great weekend everyone!

I am now wrestling with this idea. I live in the UK where the outside temp rarely gets above 25 C (usually 14 C at this time of year). And in the winter the road salt is everywhere. I don't have a garage or level driveway on which to jack it up to take it off and put it on, etc. I just don't know what to do!?!?

I am in the UK and a 964 owner and I don't run an undertray. Car perfectly stable up to 152mph indicated so far, and although I don't really notice any difference in oil temparature logic would dictate that it aids cooling. Of course, because I have a non-standard exhaust, there is nothing to attach the tray to anyway...ha ha.

On the salt issue, I must admit that I don't really drive the car so much when it is cold enough for the roads to be gritted - but it doesn't bother me too much. When I drive in the rain, the engine bay gets a free clean I presume...
