No, only the lights above the gear stick/shifter.
The Tail lights give the car a much more modern look. I also fitted HID's and then some matching side light led's.
I've got to get out there today and clean it so i'll take some pics then. Hopefully do the car some justice!

Can you also give us details on where you got the bulbs, sizes, models, etc.

I really want to get LEDs for the markers.

Nice work, the video is especially useful to understand how the LEDs are different.

Well that's where we'll fall foul of the rennlist rules as I've developed them myself and as i can't promote my own work you'll have to make enquiries some other way!

Why not become a Rennlist Sponsor. Such a sponsorship would certainly pay dividends.

Would these be suitable for the 3rd brake light?

No, you need the T5 (286) wedge LED's with built in resistors

For reference only

Alan,

How would these type of bulbs be mounted in the 3rd brake light assembly?

I was thinking that if the LED's i above were 3V ish then I could cut the track and group the LEDs in fours making the 12V groups to wire in parrallel and this should work, or am I completely wrong?

I am keen to do this mod now as the back windscreen is being replaced and the brake light assembly is sitting on the bench doing nothing.

Alan, e-mail or PM me if you have your solution ready yet, for the 3rd brake light at least.

I'm just working on a conversion at the moment but with the chinese new year break I'm unlikely to have anything until March. These T5 led's are an easy install - just a direct replacment for the bulb and incredibly bright - probably twice as bright as the bulbs!

Only catch -if you've got cruise control it will stop working (i've done a fix but won't be available until march)

PM me for a deal on 24 leds if you want them.
