Just received an email that my soft back sport seats are ready; basically a year from order date and just in time for Spring! Can't wait to get them installed!

I included the heat function but my original seats were not heated, does anyone know if I'll have to address any wiring?

Thank you!

Yes. You'll have to wire up the heat. Good news is that you have a switched and fused power source under the seat. Believe it's the purple wire for power and black or brown ground. Simple wiring job. You'll need to figure out a switch though. My sportster CS seats with heat has it on the outside frame in the thigh area.

Thank you, by switch do you mean the hi/lo/off? That seems to be present on the new seats integrated with the power tilt 'buttons'. Wishful thinking it will be plug & play with the existing harness from the car or will I have to account for the 'heat' wiring separately? tyia!

Oohh. I don't have those seats. Not sure. Do you have pictures of the connectors? Best option may be to hook them up and see if the wiring is integrated. You can probably trace the wires underneath and make an educated guess.

Thank you but an educated guess might be a stretch? I enjoy wrenching on the car for anything other than wiring....unfortunately I am not near the car and seats will be shipped next week, will update the thread when able....thank you!

You might be in luck. Everything the seats need, regardless of how there are optioned, comes in on connectors X37 and X38 - basically power and gnd. If Waldemar wired the seats as shown, they should be plug-and-play.

Very nice, thank you kindly! I'll report back when I wrestle them in...

Default Still waiting on Waldemar seats

I ordered a set of carbon back seats over a year ago. I have been communicating with him every few months and he did say it will take 30+ weeks. He did send me a picture of the carbon fiber shells a few months back. I have sent four or five emails since then about 3 or 4 weeks apart and no response. I am now worried that I lost my deposit as it is over a year and now he is not communicating. Thoughts?

Over the past few years I've read many threads about his work and your question is a recurring theme. I've never read about someone being stiffed so my thought is be patient.

It took 13 months to receive my seats from Waldemar the wait seemed interminable. Hang in there, he'll eventually come through.

I'm in a similar boat. I can wait, but I'd like to at least hear from him. Does anybody have a phone number by chance?

You guys will get your seats, i highly doubt all of a sudden he'd just disapear with your $$ after he's been known for years. He certainly doesn't know how to communicate though which is a key point when doing business...bad communicators are very frustrating to deal with.

Can anyone share 2024 costs and what the deposit breakdown is or is all payment due upfront and you wait a year plus hoping to receive them?
