Just a real quick question - I have a line on a set of seats, tan color, from a 993, full power, but, the seller notes, without heat. Did 993s have a heated seat option, in addition to full power movement? Thanks much.

I have the factory sports seats with the heated seat option. Note the vertical rocker heater switch in the pics below, located just aft of the seat height controls.

Heated seats were also an option on the 964.

Thanks, guys. I'll just have to keep my eye out for a reasonably priced, used set of 964 or 993 heated power seats.

Hey Chuck,

Here's a thread from the 964 board, discussing (in depth) installation of 993 seats into a 964. Might come in handy when you find the seats you want. One correction from what's written in the thread. The heater supply power will only be hot if the fuse is installed. I don't believe the fuse is installed if your car didn't leave the factory with heated seats.
