Nice job Randy.
Cooler heads prevail as always.
I don't know anymore than what was posted here, but I think you did the correct thing by posting what you have just now above.

No arguing for me but WOW that is a saaaweeeet picture of the curves on that car. It is now my wallpaper on the laptop. I wish I could get some pics like that.
Sorry to hear your selling her but like others have said you will have a ton of good memories in the RV.

Guys, thank you very much for your support, I really appreciate that.
However if possible, let's not misunderstand Randy.
I told him about this already that yes I admit that in our emails, I agree with him that I was going to sell the car to him pending on a PPI but a few days later I changed my mind and decided to keep the car because I did not want to sell it.
I was really reluctant to sell the car and decided to keep it. Later on I decided to sell it for my own financial personal reasons. I remember the morning before I handed over the car to Jason, a bunch of us (about 17 cars?) went for a drive and afterward it was extremely hard for me to let go of the car that I loved. I think Jason and others can assure you that it was not easy for me to sell the car. I have spent a lot of time and effort maintaining the car and I enjoyed it a lot.
At any rate, I should not have said "yes" to Randy in the first place because I could not follow it through. I apologized to him a few times already and I was surprised that he brought this case up again 3 months later.
A few threads up, he did apologize about the comment/post that he made on this thread. He also mentioned to me (privately) that he should not have brought up this issue again in the first place. I think that shows that he's a cool guy.
So let's all get along There are more important things out there in life.
And let's get back to the original topic of this post which was Jason is trying to sell his car (so let's help him when possible).
Jason: per my email to you yesterday, yes I think you made the right decision... Being happy as a family will bring you much more joy in life.
Danny: yeah I can't wait for the economy to recover so I can get a 993 again... I've gone out to the track a few times w/o a car (just to hang out with friends) and it was a torture not being able to drive on the track
Btw w/ regards to Temple's post... I think we should refer this car as Jason's car. I am glad that he is the current owner of the car (at least for now), he's a very nice guy.
I should get off my soap box for now
God bless you all,
pin

Pin, I should not have assumed that you were using me as bait to get a higher price for your car. I apologize for making that statement. In my own defense I was not privy to your intentions or your financial/personal motivations so I jumped to conclusions when another buyer popped up. I regret doing that and for also offending all of your friends on this board.

Jason,
I thought the 993 is a family member? How could you just throw it out like that? Don't you love all of your family members?
Randy,
Thank you for the apology. If I may be so bold, I see that you've made 267 posts, but have not yet paid $17 for a Rennlist membership. If you review the posters on this thread, you'll notice that you're the only one. If you can afford PSS-9 coilovers (not to mention the 993 itself), ...

Hey guys, I am back from Maine and wanted to get back to those who have asked about my car.
I am asking $58k and I am now home for a few weeks if anyone is interested in checking it out!
Read the posts above for all the details on the car.

one more thing, maybe you can do 'big reds' for the trailer brakes. I am sure Robin would like that DIY write-up..
Sounds like you have made a sound decision. You can always get another p-car someday.
Take care

I have been a dues paying member for 2 years and have e-mailed several times to the site admin (John) about updating my profile, but it still says nothing. So I gave up and figure that there must be others out there like me. Consequently, I do not make assumptions abut who is and who is not a dues paying member.
Sorry for the OT post.
