Looks good!
Sideskirts and some better rims and it will be fabulous!
I already have OEM splitters (not installed yet) and will have the wing & skirts later so this was nice to see G. Red with RS stuff.
IMO, 993 RS is one of the best looking 911 there is.

The RS sideskirts are really great looking, IMHO.
I have to make some time to get the carbon RS side skirt project going again. I do have half the tooling completed at present...

Wow! Really nice! I thought about doing the same but changed my mind for the following reasons:
1) My car is slammed to the ground and those splitters would really take a beating, despite having the FPB
2) I would have to get rid of the basket handle TBL and that was a major undertaking for such a minor modification. The cost would have been exorbitant.
3) My wife, and all my female friends don't seem to like wings of any sort. "Why do guys like that type of thing? Do you think it makes you look cool?", is the response I always get. I still think it looks GREAT, but it always helps when the wife likes it too!
Beautiful car!

That RS wing is sweet! I wish I could switch to that wing except, having a cab, I don't know what I would do for the third brake light & that would just be an excuse to get pulled over. Anyone out there have a cab with the RS wing?

Having a wing & the basket handle makes the rear look kind of cluttered. Plus I don't have the original basket handle, the car came with the wing that has the 3rd brake light in it. I'd probably have to customize the RS wing on the rear edge with a LED strip to make it legal & aesthetically pleasing to my eye & that sound like a lot of work.

The official bureaucratese name for TBLs is Center High Mounted Stop Lights, or CHMSLs. Federal law has required them in autos since the 1986 model year and in light trucks since 1994, after pilot tests on taxicabs found that the lights reduced rear-end collisions.
Bored cops WILL get you for not having a CHMSL, or so says an aquaintance of mine who lost the CHMSL on his 993 cab when he added a faux turbo wing.

Back on topic, Awesome RS look. Great job!!
Question #1: Do the front splitters mount directly onto existing front bumper? Is it a simple 'Bolt-On'?
#2: So as i understand it, the Side Skirts (as pictured on White 993 above) are only avail as factory OEM parts? Throught either Gert or Porsche?
thanks
Mike

A simple bolt on, take the factory spliters off, replace with RS splitters. I prefer the polyurethane factory splitters over fiberglass...polyurethane can take a little more abuse and it will resist cracking.

The side skirts are made of rugged black ABS of polyurethane material. I have only seen them for sale by Gert or Porsche.
The factory RS tail is only available from Gert or Porsche. Fiberglass aftermarket tails are available from MA Shaw (Rennlist sponsor), Getty Design and others. I have purchased two (2) 993 RS tails from Getty Design, one for me and one for my neighbor. Both were well made, well finished and required a minimum of prep before painting.
If you can afford it, get the entire package from Gert. This way you are getting all genuine Porsche parts and can be assured of the quality, fit and finish.
If you want to save a few bucks, get the splitters, side skirts, front protection bar from Gert, and the tail from Getty Design.
