I have those same footwell sub enclosures in Cashmere with Focal 8" subs in them- they sound awesome. Also running the JL amp show a few posts back with Rockford Fosgate 2 ways up from and ADS plates in the back. Whole system sounds incredible.

I miss the a/d/s 300i speakers. I have had them in several Porsches over the years.

I'm curious how this amp is mounted. I'm assuming it's not just connected to the carpet. Did you mount it to something solid behind? Isn't that where the gas tank is?

I mounted a 1x1 in the carpet pocket and strapped that to a point above…

Would this have fit under the passenger's seat?

You would have to compare the dimensions of your chosen amp to the available space under the seat in YOUR car, allowing for ventilation.

Mine fit under the passenger seat. I took the cruise control module up off the floor to make room for it-then velcro'd the CC unit to the top of the amp away for the heatsinks- it's worked well and there's plenty of room for ventilation above the amp. should have taken a pic. mine is the JL XD 600/6v2 amp

@911Jeff oh yeah, for sure. i was just curious if it was a possibility for you, and if it was possible, why you chose not to. thanks!

Back when I had earlier Porsches I mounted my amps (usually a/d/s) under the seat. In my 993 I had a very large Soundstream amp that would not fit under the seat. When I changed to the JLAudio I chose to use the existing wiring and location.
