Was surfing a little this morning, while lamenting the lack of lowend in my car, and came across the Infinity Basslink self-powered sub ... it's 10", 200watts. I have a small Infinity servo-controlled sub (10") in one of my home audio systems and it puts out prodigious amounts of tight bass. I'm curious if this sub will work in a 911; can be mounted vertically or horizontally (perhaps behind the passenger seat or on top of the rear deck?). It's priced attractively, too ... $300 or so retail, well under that on Ebay. i had Rod's "System" in my 930 and it was awesome, but it's a little out of my budget range at the moment. Anyone tried/heard one?

I read a review on this sub that was very positive, and was thinking of getting one myself. Can't remember where I read it though.
Sorry. I'm almost certain you can mount this behind one of the rear seats.
If you search Google for "infinity basslink review" you'll find some useful info.

Getting tight bass out of a 993 is not all that easy. The best solution I've seen for my needs is available from a fellow Rennlister that has a small car audio shop in Sacramento.

We recently put a LWF kit and viscous coupling in a C4S and I was looking at the sub enclosures (done by the guy in Sacremento) and it was a very tidy "factory" look -- the owner of the car seemed very pleased with the results.
