Still researching which springs I should have after fitting M033 with the new porsche green struts. Car feels too stiff now. Looking at pictures of M030 springs, I'm seeing progressive winds on them, which the M033's do not have. So I'm thinking the write ups I read could have been wrong and the M030 is the more compliant spring that most people run with when going to RoW suspension.
What is on the car now part numbers (they don't have progressive windings):
PNA-993-GRNST - 993 COMFORT SHOCK KIT 993-343-531-04-504 - SUSP SPRING SET 993-333-531-29-504 - COIL SPRING SET
Pictures of M030 springs with progressive windings:
Hi Wicks,
I seem to recall they are not,
I purchased HR Sport Coilover kits spring & strut/damper. The H&R spring is progressive,
Folks seem to be happy with either design.

I run RoW M030 with Bilstein B8. If you think 33s are stiff, you will not like 30s. OTOH, it heavily depends on the shock rates as well, not just springs.
Are yours progressive as in the photos above? I imagine those go to bind in any corner and then you've gotten a very short spring beyond that. But maybe it's smoother over the bumps around town than an M033.

Just the opposite. They do not bind, why would they? They are not smooth over bumps, as a matter of fact they are pretty stiff as I've mentioned above. An occasional autocross on them is more pleasant, but they make a stiffer than needed ride in combination with B8s. My dedicated autocross appliance that weighs 2k lbs on Penskes and 900/550 lb spring combo is probably more compliant because the shocks are better valved for those springs. Always look for a combination, not one part of a coilover equation. And don't worry about linear vs. progressive, it'll have very little to do with how the combination feels on the street.
