Default what does "partial leather" mean

I did a search on this and the answer may be buried somewhere but it was not obvious...

The option sticker on my recently purchased 1995 coupe is missing. I do have the window sticker which lists "Cashmere/black - partial leather - no charge", which presumably means I have the standard interior.

I did find one post that said
- Partial leather seats (faces only)
- Everything else is leatherette

What does "faces only" mean. Does this mean only the seating part on the front - the stuff that looks like it has holes in it - and the sides of the seat, and all the back is leatherette?

Also, what is leatherette? Is this a fancy term for vinyl and do I use vinyl cleaner on it?

Thanks

Your assumption of "faces only" is correct. There isn't much leather in a partial leather interior.
Leatherette is vinyl. You can clean it like leather, with saddle soap and water, or Formula 409 or the like if you're in a hurry.

I think on partial leather,
they only used part of the cow, like the rear part.
on full leather interiors they used all the cow.
I know thats a bunch of bull, but thats my beef
with this whole thing. If your gonna do it do it all the
way. But they tried to milk the situation.
Thats the way I veal about this. its udderly
ridiculous.
