Post What should it cost to paint an RS Aerokit?

I'm curious if anyone has any perspective on this.
I have the RS Aerokit coming from Gert shortly (rear wing, front splitters & side skirts) and was interested in what others may have paid to have this done. I've got 2 quality body shops within 10 miles but was curious on what a reasonable price might be before I drop in to see them.
It seems as though the actual install is relatively straightforward (a reasonable DIY) - is this true?
Thanks for the input.

Who is going to install it?

You install - estimate about $650

Shop install - estimate about $850

Robin's quote sounds right on. If it's more they're charging you a "Porsche Tax".

Rick:

I paid $718.00 to have my parts prepped and painted. As others have said, installing the parts is very straightforward. The side skirts are a little tricky and you have to drill 3 holes in each side of your car to attach them. If you are going to install the side skirts, give me a call and I'll tell you what I have learned. 404.664.8547 - Cell

PS. I am unavailable Thursday from 12:00 to 4:00 CST and at the racetrack from Friday through Sunday.

Hank,
Thanks for the insight - I'll ring you next week; I'm off for a golf trip in the morning.
Thanks again.
