Any good engine "cut-away" diagrams?
My 9 and 10 year old boys are very interested in things mechanical. Because so little of the 993's engine is visible, I've been trying to find a cool "cut-away" that shows the basic engine layout. Anyone seen one or know where I could get one?
thanks

Curtis,
I think you'll find what you're looking for at www.msroadrace.com. Click on the key to enter. They have all kinds of exploded diagrams of every part of the car, for many generations of 911's.

Buy the parts microfiche; is LOADED with cutaways of every part of your car.
Go to www.my-porsche.com and look for parts microfiche. When it comes, can go to a library with a microfiche reader/printer and make paper copies of any page that interests you.
Advantage is with their fresh brains they'll likely remember all the part numbers too- so if you need something, you just have to ask them the part number for such and such a widget. Saves on research time.
