Default New Guy

I've been lurking around this forum for a few weeks now and decided it was time to check in. I purchased my 993 about a month ago and after reading this forum I have a list of things to do. I'm sure I will be asking questions in the near future. Here are a few pictures of my cars. The 914 needs a new battery so it didn't make it out front. The 88 will be going up for sale sometime soon. What happened to the June 5th ride to the Central Coast. I would love to join you guys.

Randy

Rand,

Welcome aboard. Nice cars... nice home. The June 5th "north vs south rumble" is absolutely still on. When the time gets near, we'll organize meeting spots and pass cell phone numbers and such. We would love to have you join in on the fun.

BTW... Lancaster? Right around the corner from Willow Springs. How about coming out to the track on May 22nd for the Tracquest event. There will be several Rennlister running their cars (me for the first time). Bring an hourglass so you can record our lap times!

Ride Height, definitely. I plan on the ROW M030 with the Bilsteins. After that wheels and tires, possibly Kinesis K18 polished. I don't know about the polished look on those wheels.. What does everyone think about polished wheels, I don't see that many on this board.

I have Fikse's... and although they aren't a full polished wheel, the outter rim is high polished

Welcome, Randy! Nice cars.

I'm not a big fan of all-polished wheels, but like a polished rim only. If I had to go Kinesis, I'd pick the standard or anodized finish. If a full-polish floats your boat, go for it.

Welcome Randy! Was the Pastel Yellow a stock color for the 993, or custom order?

Welcome aboard, Randy.

I don't much care for the full polish, either. Silver center w/polished rim is my cup of tea. But if it's what you like, you should do it. It's all about you baby! You know what they say, opinions are like A_ _holes.....
Have fun.

Welcome Randy,
It sounds like you'll be attending "The Rumble" - you'll enjoy the Rennlisters you meet there, as I have. In the meantime you can think about a small investment in a Rennlist Membership, its a great value!
See you June 5th.
