Question To Spoil or Not to Spoil?

I'm looking to replace my stock (but damaged) front bumper with Gert's euro turbo front bumper and am also considering adding the Turbo "S" Front Chin Spoiler. Has anyone done this on their non-turbo 993? If so, can I see some pics? TIA.

Jeff,
I may not be of much help because I used the RS kit. In any case, I think that chin spoilers make a great improvement for the looks of the cars regardless of the bumper being used.
I had a number of deep scratches in the bumper (mostly due to the previous owner, 1 thanks to my kids and a bicycle); I had my body shop refinish the bumper & repaint at the same time I did the RS Aerokit. I just posted some pics under RS CAB heading.
Best of luck to you.

Jeff,
I had a GT2 spoiler fashioned to fit my Turbo spoiler. The original is 3 pieces (of course), they turned it into a one piece unit. They are taking a mould as we speak (so to speak) for future re-production. This is a glass copy, not an original but another option. Here is a picture; and a link to the rest.

It's back to be repainted also because the clear re-acted and turned black. If you want a contat name/number let me know, the guy/car is in Costa Mesa for the next week the car will be there.

Good Luck,
Dylan.

I put on the Turbo S front splitter a few months ago (M A Shaw version) and love the look.

One concern is that this piece is significantly lower than the existing part, and, because my car is lowered, I have to be very careful with driveways, etc. The splitter is forward of and lower than Gert's FPB, so guess what scrapes first... Despite this, I am glad I did it.

Pete,
That's the look I like, thanks! Did you mount the resin splitter to an OE bumper? How about paint matching - did you have to repaint anything but the bumper?

This splitter is fiberglass, not urethane like the factory part. The body guy blended the joint into the existing bumper cover so it looks like one piece. He blended the paint onto the existing cover and then reshot the clear on the entire cover. It he had not, the paint would't match very well, as I found out on the tail. What a PIA that was. Arena Red has got to be the worst to color match.
