Default removal of CR 210

I'm looking for advice as to the removal of a CR 210 stereo (completely factory). I have purchased a set of removal keys. They work for the right side but not for the left side. On the left side, the key does not grab onto or hook onto anything. I've taken the car to an aftermarket car audio installation company and their tech was not able to remove the stereo either.

Any advice?

Thank you.

I recently upgraded my head unit and had a similar problem. I was finally able to remove the head unit by pulling the problematic removal key slightly sideways to make it catch instead of just outwards. Hopefully that makes sense.

I recall someone posting of a radio after removal, and showing how the keys connect.

Might be helpful of how to position the keys to aid the hookup.

The keys should be marked L and R. Then insert accordingly and depress the keys into the slot. You may need to use a bit of force. The radio should then slide out but you may need to coach out with some slight wiggling. You may want to call/e-maill Car Audio Innovations in Roseville,CA he's THE Porsche radio install expert.
