Sears has a 3 ton floor jack and two jack stands on sale this weekend for less than $ 70. I paid 100+ this winter. Very happy with the jack and jack stands. Mick

Mick,
The Sears jacks won't fit under the front jack points on cars that have been lowered to RS ride height (or lower in some cases
) without driving the front wheels on blocks. Also, some of us buy the spendy aluminum jacks to take to the track - due to their light weight.

OK, just got the catalog from Harbor Freight Tools and found the Aluminum Floor Jack item number 47246-0HVH , I think you can put in an order and have it back order. When you go to the web site click the left side where it says "order from Printed Catalog" and enter the item number.
Hey, for $199 and NO SHIPPING CHARGE it's worth a try, right?
Good luck

KC,
I ordered the Harbor Freight aluminum racing jack more than a month ago and have also been told they presently expect to be able to ship around 4/19 - but no guarantee on the date. The jacks are coming from a different supplier.

Richard,
I have the same information as yours, and if I don't have it by end of May I am going to get the jack from Sams Club...
I WILL keep my order as long as it'll take though...

Ed did a great job on the group buy and I punked out at the last minute because of the weight of the jack. I saw Ed's at Summit Point in October. The Harbor Tools jack, if it actually materializes, at 34 lbs is about half the weight of Ed's jack. Other aluminum jacks are over $600.
