1:42s?

You go girl. That's what I qualified at last year.
Maybe you shouldn't be on this team.

Were you at Fischer's test and tune Monday? One of our other team mates was there with his new E class 944TS and was well into the 30s

Kim,

I really like the 97's, but I dont have any experience with the Pagid's to be honest. From the many people I have spoken with, they seem to similar in performance. The 97's are pretty easy on rotors, maybe more so than the Pagid's..

Thanks.. I really felt one of those rare 'in the zone' type day's and the weather was so nice this past weekend! ...fun got cut short a little, however, after brake fade and meltdown LOL

....nope, wasn't at Fisher on monday.. just back in the office.....

Same as me. The PFCs were the first ever track-only pad I've used. When I was hunting to make the transition from Textars to dedicated track pads, I asked a gazillion people's opininions. My synopsis: Lots use and love Pagids, mostly orange, some black. Lots like Hawk Blue, but I personally am put off by the numerous comments about their "corrosive dust" that I must wash off soon as possible. A few use and love their Performance Friction pads. I went with the PFCs because of the recommendations of the few here (of whose opinions I trust), and they were less expensive than the Pagids. After maybe two years of use, I am definitely sold on the PFCs, compound 97 pads. Again, I can't speak to it's performance compared to the Pagids, but they work so well for me, and easy on the rotors, that I have no desire to even try any other pad. Just my .02, FWIW

Me too, OEM are just fine for most tracks and of course street driving, and they are cheap! A set of Pagid pads is about $400, Black front, Orange rear. When I need pads, I call Kary at Group 9 Motorsports, a Rennlist sponsor.

California Speedway...I use Pagid. Heavy brake wotk required, 140 mph down to 55 mph every 2 minites.

Ggod news and a heads up to all.

I have ordered the new pads and rotors from Sun Coast Porsche. I was able to get the OEM pads for $40.49 per axle set and I was able to get the rotors for $99.00 each. The rotors were a little cheaper than normal because they gave me a discount for belonging to PCA. Reasonable deal I thought.

I just called Sunset and ordered Front pads and rotors for $218.47 + shipping. He said that they have a special coming up and offered the price in advance. No affiliation just trying to help anyone looking to do some work before any DE's...

Peter,

That sounds like a smoking deal. I think ceboyd and I wish we had known about those prices.
