New Member (Kinda Of) with Photo - Not for the Weak of Heart
Last year I bought a damaged 97 993 Cab. I have a ’01 Boxster S that I bought new but have always wanted a 993. The car was not hit all that bad but as you can see from the photo, they took it down to the bare bones to get it fixed right. And they did. It looks and handles like new. This board and the folks on it have been great. I read it daily and it has assisted me with my learning curve…..which has been very steep. Numerous PM’s went out and they were all answered. I have added a Fabspeed Supercups and removed the baffles so I could hear the engine a little better. I also added heated heats, a three spoke steering wheel and did an interior color change from blue to black. The car is a tip where as the Boxster is a 6 speed. I wanted the tip for the fine Los Angeles freeway traffic. This will be my daily driver. The car is great but a 6 speed would be a better tool for it…IMHO.

Welcome, Chuck.
But don't leave us hanging... how's it look now?
Glad you got the 993 on the road. You could do a lot worse than a tip cab for a commuter car, and a Boxster for weekends!
