What experiences have you had with Porsche independent mechanics in Northern NJ? Any recommendations?

I have had good service from Performance Plus in Oakland. They do all my pre-track tech inspections
and replaced my tie rods last year. They are good
guys and straight shooters.

Steve,

I have heard good things about Autohaus in Chatham, NJ.

They serve as technical advisors to PCA and I have spoken to them on numerous occasions and found them very helpful, even when there is no financial gain to them.

They also have a website, but since I do not believe them to be a rennlist sponsor, I refrain from posting it. You can PM or email me for it if you can not locate it otherwise.

I use Powertech in Rockaway. They are PCA members and are really a great bunch of guys. Also, they have good prices.

Ask for Mike. He knows his stuff (even though he drives a 996) <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Gene of Autohaus in Chatham, NJ has been servicing my cars since 1989. He's a good guy and PCA member.
