Post PPI in West Palm FL

Hello to all. I am considering a 993TT in West Palm FL and need a thorough PPI. I would prefer a private shop rather than a Champion, etc.

This is one of a few cars I am considering. For those in the area, it is a black/tan 96 at Palm Beach Lincoln Mercury. I know, odd place for this car but I think they have a high line used car department due to their location.

Thumbs up

I just had one done at Braman Porsche, the contact name is Alec. They will be as thorough as you want. Cost was $150. They actually did the wiring harness at n/c when they were doing the PPI

Chris,
I have heard good things about http://www.foreignaffairsmotorsports.com/ They are in Deerfield FL. Which according to their map is just outside of Pompano.

Hi Chris,
I had a PPI done by Braman, receiving a copy of all the areas inspected and condition. When I actually received the car it was 4 quarts low on oil and the power steering fluid was also off of the measuring stick. When I brought this to their attention, my impression was they were very nonchalant about my inquiry, didn't even apologize.
Your results may vary.

As an independent shop, and close to Palm Beach Lincoln, try Stahl Motorsports. When I bought my first Carrera, even Braman (the local Porsche dealer) recommended them. Very, very thorough, which always reflects in their repair bills if you have any work done

I would take it to FVD in Pompano. If you decide to buy it have FVD do the track prep work for you.

The facility is impressive. Plenty of track cars.
