Default Yoko ES 100's - what's the word?

I had these on my Carrera and loved them. I see lots of them at the track. All this trash talk on P-zeros is getting me worried, though mine only have about 400 miles on them. I know the ES-100's are a great bang for the buck. How are they on a 993 in 18", say 285's in the rear? Anyone have them on a 993?

I actually don't like them too much. Had a chance to drive on them in my friend's E36 on street and at autocross... They are too soft in sidewalls and lack in ultimate grip a bit. The only good think about them was that they were fairly quiet and comfortable, two attributes of any tire that I have zero interest in. My friend didn't like them either and her husband replaced them with Azenis for this season.
I hate to sound like I'm pushing something, but Kumho MX will be a better tire for less money.

Rick, I don't think they are available in 285/30-18. Although Yokohama has an ES-100 in a 275/35-18 that is pretty close in size.
