Thanks everyone for the kind words. I look forward to meeting some of the bay area/central coast Rennlisters.
Wasn't there a thread recently about how you always wish you could buy a car from someone just like you?
Let me add some MAJOR kudos for the seller. After we had already agreed on price, on his own dime he changed the oil, replaced the lug nuts with black ones because he thought they looked better, freshly waxed the car with Zymol Carbon to help protect it during delivery, installed front tie-down hooks to make sure the shippers strap it down correctly, added a car cover so that the car stays covered during transport, and threw in the stock mufflers in case I want to go the RSR route in the future.
Next adventure, transport. After checking around I chose Passport Transport to ship the car. I'll admit to having a weird sense of humor in that I chose them mostly because they are part of Fed Ex and I wanted to nonchalantly say, "yeah, I FedEx'd the car home."
I'll let everyone know how it went.
Thanks,

Outstanding find! The Kinesis wheels are a real plus, IMHO and really show off the Big Reds. Surprisingly, there aren't that many Arena Red cars around, especially down here in So Calif. Only 4 in our Region of 1200+ that I know of. Did see quite a few at the Parade in Boise, so they belong to folks who drive them - like you are supposed to.
I know you will have fun with it and can't wait for it to be Fed-X'd to you.

Beautiful car, Pete. Arena Red is and has been my favorite color on these cars.
