Post Mobil 1 SuperSyn

Okay, dumb question...is what used to be called "Mobil 1 Tri-Synthetic" now called "Mobil 1 with SuperSyn" ?? Went to the local Wal-Mart yesterday and they have on Tri-Synth. on the shelf, only SuperSyn.

I'm just slightly puzzled. Grin.

Wink

Apparently the same with anti-wear stuff; see site below. Now, if I could just a local store that had the 0W40!

<a href="http://www.mobil1.com/index.jsp" target="_blank">Mobil 1 Web Site</a>

An adder; I asked them about availablilty of 0W40 in the US of A; they replied as follows:

"Mobil 1 0W40 will only be available at select Porsche and Mercedes Dealerships and also select Mobil Distributors in the United states."

Hey Ray,

Yeah I looked at the Mobil site first, but nowhere that I could find says thing definitively one way or another.

As for the 0w40 viscosity, I put in a request at WalMart with the manager for 5 qt jugs of 0w40 - he told me it'd be about a week. $17.98 a jug. Pretty good by my book.

cheers,

sean
