Congrats on your new family member! It's "WIDELY" gorgeous!
Only the C2S, came with the body-colored split rear grill.

streeser...don't worry about the suspension for now. (they are just saying it needs to be lowered)You have an awesome looking car...one to be proud of and enjoy. Get the wife involved with the car...join the local Porsche club and join in on the drives and events so she gets to know the others. You'll have her looking forward to going in the Porsche! Enjoy!

I second Bill ~!!! Enjoy the car Stresser in good health and share the grin we all have. I was commenting (kindly) on this board's propensity to congratulate people on their new purchases and then let them know the car needs to be lowered ...some reference to an SUV or some such thing ...its the brotherhood of the slippery slope of modifications you never realised you "needed"....its fun to watch the banter...
"hmmm, great mod...maybe I DO need to do that to mine..." etc, etc...hang around, you'll see~!!!
Enjoy your ride

techno99... I agree. Looks pretty black to me, too. The dark hues really seem to change a lot according to the lighting. In the pics it appears to be an overcast day. I'd guess that in direct sun it looks much more blue.
I often wish we had a photo database of every standard (and optional) 993 color to refer to.

PorscheDavid,
I can tell I'm gonna like the forum and the suggestions.... and the mods to come. Thanks.
Techno99,
I'm calling it "midnight blue", but don't really know the name of the color. On the VIN/option sticker it's color L347. On the dealer sticker that came with the car originally it's listed as color 5555 (dark blue). In dim light or at night it does appear black. Interestingly, on some of the maintenance records it's listed as black, so even face to face the service folks have been unsure. Here's another picture in brighter light.
What is the spec of your "midnight blue"?
