Mechanic in Denver Area Needed
#2
Hi Ron.
I've used Prestige Imports (303-238-8101) for a few things on my 1997 c2. I've been very happy with the service overall. Also, if you are a member of the PCA you get a 15% discount on parts and labor.
Are you buying a car out here in Denver? If so, let me know if you'd like an independent gut-check on the car.

I used Storz garage in Denver also. I flew out there and they did the PPI and I drove back.
The car was so clean, that the PPI wasn't really necessary, but wanted one anyways. The guys there were very friendy and seemed knowledgeable. Although at that time, I didn't know sh$$t from shinola about porsches. I still don't!
Anyways, it's just another data point about storz garage.

I, too, am trying to get a PPI in the Denver area (and I live here.) Prestige said they could get me in on July 19 and the local mechanic from Eurosport Ltd said July 18. Seems like there is a backlog of service to be done here in Denver. I think Storz would be good but don't know what their scheduling is currently.
Good luck Ron.

Howie,
That's a good point. Every time I've used Prestige, I had to make an appointment well in advance. Every time I was in there, Trever Stergar (since gone from Prestige but a great guy) was in a constant state of apparent emergency.
Even still, good service at a certified Porsche shop for $80/hour (PCA discount) is hard to beat.
