Default '97 993 drivers seat support / springs

I'm located in Melbourne, Australia and recently purchased my first 993. The drivers seat is not as supportive to sit in as the passenger seat and has obviously had significantly more use over the last ~ 25yrs. I suspect this is relatively common issue given the age of these cars notwithstanding original build quality. There are no torn or " broken " aspects to the seat structure, at least that I can see. It just sags slightly and hence I am posting here to seek advice on suggestions on options I might explore to bolster the seat firmness without pulling the whole seat out ?

Hi Thommo,
The springs are rather robust. The foam bolsters and the seat bottom foam can get a little flat or worn. The bolster inserts made of dense foam can be ordered and replaced or augmented. The seat bottom can have an extra layer of foam slipped under it by releasing the leather from the hooks under the front of the seat and adding some foam.
The hardest part is removing the seat from the car without stripping the fasteners. here are two pages on the seat mount and upholstering that may give you some insights:

Seats parts catalog to look up foam seat part numbers:

Ian, an auto upholstery shop will take your seat bottom and weave in support webbing from the bottom to firm up the support. I had mine done years ago. No reason to strip seat and redo the foam unless it’s falling apart or really compressed.
