Do you like this or the traditional factory stiching better?

Suede? Very nice....but my Cup wheel has that, but it's worn smooth at 9 and 3 after only a year on the track....

hmmm.. do you wear driving gloves at the track? which grade of suede is it? There are at least 4 grades of strenght and thicknesses that I know of right now.

BUT, there is always the RECOVER option

who me? or MR. I get to do 45 track days a year!

I'm so envious of that BTW!!! I only wish I had the funds and time to do that much track activity per year!!!!!

....in my case it is a self recover/restich job

Where do you folks get your stitching done? I have a 3 spoke that I'd like recovered in a more grippy material (different grade of leather?).

Suggestions of materials or stitchers? TIA

..after 3 months of waiting (and even a redo) and still being unhappy with one of the companies that supposedly is the professional, we decided to just do it ourselves and it came out 100% better than same said professional services that charge between $199 and $275 to start ...nothing like waiting a month to be disappointed and then waiting another 2 months to be MORE disappointed/upset with the end result...

...and then doing it yourself so much better just proved that said professional wasn't all that great after all

...thinking about doing a side business on providing restiching in suede actually... had lots of inquiries already.....
