Default German forum in German language for 911?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there were an equivalent of Rennlist in Germany, like a German Forum in German language for enthusiasts of 911?

I have some knowledge of German language so should not be a problem for me to converse with the people.

I am sure there must be some very knowledgeable German enthusiasts about the 911, after all, Germany is the mother country of all 911s.

Will be moving to Germany soon so would like to meet some like-minded 911 enthusiasts to go for rides in this wonderful country.

Let me know :-)

Cheers,

If you look for a German forum similar to Rennlist ....

forget about it!!!

the far biggest is PFF, but its everything else than recommendable ..... it's unfortunately a forum with mostly ghost members and BS artists ...

Than there are some smaller more specific forums for specific models like G.model or 993, they are much better, but mostly not as technical as the Rennlist (993 at least) forum.

If you look for a 993 forum, PM me, there is a good none public forum on invitation only.

Hi Watson,
Many folks, especially those who do engineering work are German/English bilingual or at least have Google translate available to convert Rennlist postings. I get a few German visitors to my 993 Blog so I suspect Rennlist gets quite a few more.

Hi Andy,

thanks for your input. That proves Rennlist is the place to find best info on 911s and 993s. I am really impressed by the analytical / logical skills of some fellow RLers, it is really a great community.
