Default Bilstien HD Vs stock monroes

I have a 1996 cab with the M033 lowered suspension and the stock monroe shocks. I am thinking the bilstiens will make the car handle better at higher speeds 80mph and over, I notice the car gets a little jitterey at 80 and over, I thought it was the alignment or unbalanced wheels I had those done, and the car has never been in an accident, so I am thinking those monroes are just inferior and bilstiens may correct the problem, anyone with any feedback.

What's the mileage on your car? Monroes are nore than likely dead by now.

Sean:

No comparison, Sir. The OEM Monroes are pure junk and the Bilsteins are far & away better than any factory shocks.

If your car has more than 30K on the original shocks, you are in dire need of replacement and you will be pleasantly surprised at how well your car will handle with decent shocks (and a good alignment).

Go for it,....

Sean,
I ordered the Bilstein HD & H&R Spring combo from Gert's website. It was backordered but he just got them in. His price is very competitive even with the Euro/USD conversion.. and free shipping. Check it out: www.carnewal.com

Default bilstiens

Steve I think your right, I put bilstien sports on a BMW 3 series that I supercharged and the difference was dramatic when large trucks went by the car did'nt budge.
How much do you sell them for, and have you had expierience using them with the M033 springs? The monroes and springs are less than a year old, any idea why Porsche ever used monroes?

Sean,
Visit the link in Steve's message or just click here>> http://www.rennsportsystems.com/

I will tell you that Steve has spent many minutes on the phone with me trying to help me decide on suspension set up. He is very knowledgable and very patient (he took the time to answer my stupid questions).

FYI, I have a 993 C2 cab, with H&R springs, Bilstein HD's, Turbo sway bars, and I absolutely love it!! You won't be disappointed with the Bilsteins.

I also have the H&R, Bilstein HD's and Turbo swaybars and the car is soooo much more fun to drive now (my original shocks only had 38k miles on them).

Also, Steve W is an incredible resource and I highly recommend his shop!
