I'm ready. The thing is for a well priced car it seems you have to forego the 'absolutely needed' PPI if you want it. The car that went for $52k drove like a dream, but sold before I could even consider a PPI.
I read somewhere a 3.8 build was over $30k alone! There was a black/grey for sale with hardback seats, top end engine rebuild, under 100k miles at Park Place last week. That sold fast, asking was $59900.

i picked this one up. I had to act super fast! :-) 82k miles blk/grey hardback sport seats!
i even knock another $500 down! Haha it was previously sold on BaT for 57.5k in 2018. 3 years later, 2k more miles, for $2k more, im not complaining. I had more details from BaT auction than the sales person. Also Park Place was able to perform PPI for free.

That was a score for you! Excellent looking car, and excellent value with tope end done, and the sport backs. I dont think there are deals like that one left! Kudos to you and good luck with it.

thank you for the kind word.

i was skeptical about it being at dealership / consignment, but ended up being win-win for all parties.

SOLD!

I have decided to sell my arena red 97 C2S. I have owned the car since Feb 2005. I had it repainted in 2010 for cosmetic reasons (I have pics before, during, after). In 2012 I had the transmission swapped from tiptronic to 6 speed. The car has ~96k miles now. I am looking for ~$75k depending on what extras a buyer is interested in (orginal bumper and lights, factory service manuals, extra wheels/tires, ...). It has mods that are typical 'Rennlist' like hardback sport seats, big red brakes, m030 suspension, Walrod bushings, RS short shifter and golden rod, ... .

I thought I would never sell this car but things change. When I registered it this year they told me my registration had been expired for a year ... I didn't even know. Time to let someone else enjoy it since I drive it so rarely now. If you are still interested after reading this send me a PM.
