Now, Keith, your box is full :-) So I'll answer here, as this might be useful to others:
Keith, KD and KDW are _very_ different tires.
KD is a uniquely great dry wather tire that is not very good in the rain. It wouldn't kill you if you don't do really stupid things in standing water, but will hydroplane on occasion. With sucj wide tires on 993 it might be a bit of a handful.
KDW is the rain tire. It's very good in the wet but nowhere near the grip in the dry. It's also much less expensive.
So it boils down to what's your preference. If it's all-around driving, including wet, I'd probably go with something like Kumho MX for less money than KDW. I'm not sure what you meant by KDB, I assume it's KD?
There is also a new tire called KDW 2. I have not tried it and know nothing about it but it does look interesting.
BTW, NTB (NTW?) will match Tire Rack's pricing. And someone suggested that Sears will not only match, but give 10% of difference back to you.
