Default Would you bother to fix this?

My car is lowered and I live in SoCal. I feel like the minute I fix this, it's gonna get smashed/cracked again.
Do I just keep on ignoring it or get it repaired?

If it were my car I’d raise it to avoid bottoming out. It’s clearly too low for that environment, and I’d have a hard time accepting it being constantly chewed up. It’s hard to prevent the occasional scuff now and then, but that front end looks to be in rough shape.

I'd go fir fixing it. You'll be less likely to do it again have done it once already. 😁

If it was just a little scraped, no. But with broken, peeling paint, I'd have trouble leaving it without fixing it. It would bother me too much.

if you are asking, you are not worthy.
but

that's just an opinion.<grin>

I could not look at "my car" daily knowing it needed such a repair.
My 993 likely had a lower ride height and in 7 years I never caused damage like yours to mine.

Ok. My opinion. Doesn't bother me. No big deal. Bigger fish to fry. I wouldn't worry about and maybe try to avoid further damage in the future.

Close up, shot from underneath, of course it looks really bad. TBH, you can barely see it when you are standing in a normal position above the car.
I have a Gert front protection bar on the vehicle..

But, message received.. I've already dropped $13k on it this month. What's a little more

I'd for sure fix it. Then stay the hell away from the curbs you're surfing, or steep driveways, or giant potholes...

Other than the damage depicted in your photographs, did you scrape or damage the underside, under the frunk? I think their is undercoating that can scrape off? Not sure.....

How OCD are you? No, really?
If it's a daily driver and/or you love the pleasure of driving it more than staring at it (yeah, I know we love staring at em, but still!!!), then just leave it alone. Look at the rest of the car: it looks great! Seriously, I'd leave it alone unless you really are that type of guy where this is going to play in your mind all the time. Barring that, there really is much more to enjoy and this is easily --and justifiably-- overlooked.

OTOH, what needs genuinely fixing is that Alfa Spider in the background! Criminy, those wheels are an absolute abomination! The stock Cromodora turbina or the 5-star are the correct look fer cryin out loud!!

I have always been OCD since bicycles, motorcycles and cars. If I have a nick or scratch, I can't drive the car until it's fixed, and fixed correctly. I understand that others can look the other way, but I can't. Even though others can't see anything, just knowing that a nick is on my car, drives me crazy. It might be that I bought my car new, but my collector cars, all #1 or #2 cars I am the same.
I am the guy that drives to the furthest end of a parking lot to avoid a door ding or a shopping cart.
