Exclamation Seeking a 993

My 996 C2 cab just drove off with its new owner (he was talking German to it as he drove, pretty cool) ... and I want to get back in a 993. So, if you know of a well-lept 95-97 6-speed C2 or C4 cab, targa or coupe, narrowbody, preferably with a cashmere interior, drop me a line, I'm a cash buyer. Got a couple of cars I'm looking at but no deal as of yet, and I'm going to have to rent a damn Taurus or something on Monday ;-)

Vic:

Copley Motorcars (Boston) has a '95 C2 Cabrio (silver/black) with 30k miles. 'Looks nice:

I can empathize. I rented a Mercury Sable while I waited for my 993. Good luck!

Steve:

How do you like your white/chestnut combo? There's a twin to your car, but it's arctic white, can't get a feel for it, looks real red in the pictures.

'Love it. It has a real retro look to it - similar to the 356s you may see. It's much darker in the flesh. Porsche offered a much brighter alternative called Flamenco Red that is very bright. My car has the full leather option, so the IP, doors, console, speaker covers, etc... are all covered in leather. A very nice look.

If you search the archives, Anir has a 993TT with chestnut and has posted a few pictures. Otherwise, I'd be happy to take some for you of mine. Best to go take a look yourself, however.

This is a very nice car, 35k miles, 97 ... former concours winner. Has the Turbo rims with arctic white centers and a polished lips. A bit pricey for me, though ... hmmmm. I think I'm having a bad reaction because I saw a really dirty one at the dealer recently after a snowstorm, I mean it was filthy, looked awful ... but the pictures of this one are very nice. I had a GP white/flamenco 95 coupe years ago, that was nice, too.

The real bright white ... perhaps it is glacier white? Do they have glaciers in the arctic ;-)

I saw one parked next to my (former) GP white coupe once and it looked almost yellow next to it. Amazingly bright white.
