Hi

Help!

The ABS and ABD warning lights have come on on the dashboard on my 1996 993 C4. Everything seems OK and I have checked the fuse. The lights came on after I went to start the car it was OK before that. Can anyone make any suggestions? Are there any sensors that might have come loose? Is it asfe to drive?

maybe the wheel sensors need a few rotations to reset themselves. Mine stay on for a bit until I back out of the garage. I cannot imagine you could do any damage by driving it ten feet?

Probably the battery/alternator.

Those sensors go bezerk when there is low voltage.

I got the same warning lights firing off randomly prior to, or should I say as my alternator was going bad....no problems since replacing

I have checked the battery and charge and all seems well. I had a four wheel alignment done yesterday is there anything they could have knocked? Looks like its going to be garage job.

The speed sensors are in that area... Perhaps they knocked out a wire?
