Default Time for new Struts

Time for new struts and shocks for my '98 Cab. I do not track my car and use it as a weekend car here in Cali. Looking for advice on good struts & shocks that will just match the factory set-up. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Mike,
I went with H&R coilover kits:

Hi Mike:

I too live here in the Bay Area and also don't track mine either. I tossed the original Monroe's in favor of the Bilstein B6's for my 1996 C4S. The B6 addition was a significant improvement in ride and handling without adding harshness. It was all that I could ask for as we navigate our all too often neglected Bay Area roads.

Mike,

I'm in the same boat. I drive mine enough that I don't want it lower or I will scrape even more over speed bumps and the lousy roads on base.

I am looking for feedback on the Bilstein B6's and the Koni Special Active Damper's. With Pelicans 20% off offer on Koni's, they are a pretty good deal right now.

Thanks for the feedback Gary. I'm leaning towards the B6s as well.
