i start the engine and the air bags light goes off after 10 minutes.whats the problem?use to turn off in few seconds.

Have you recently unhooked your speedometer? I know when I changed the faces on my guages and unhooked the speedo I had a similar situation. Mine actually stayed on only 3 or 4 minutes but then went off just like yours. I took it to the shop and they reset it for a nominal fee. It would also happen I think if you changed steering wheels. mick

If the battery is disconnected this leads to the airbag light staying on after start. You need to get the system reset as mentioned above.
