Post starting difficulties

My '95 C2 has been not starting on occasion. This never happens when its cold. It will fire up initially and then dies out within a second or two. Its acts like the engine is flooded since if I wait for several minutes it fires up just fine. I've tried not touching the gas pedal while turning it over as well as depressing the pedal. Nothing seems to work. Any one have any experience with this happening?

Sounds like it could be two things right off the bat:

<a href="http://p-car.com/diy/relay/" target="_blank">993 DME Relay</a>

<a href="http://www.pcarracing.homestead.com/wiring_harness.html" target="_blank">1995 993 Wiring Harness Problem</a>

It's probably the second one. There were some recent posts about this topic. If you search the archives for "wiring harness" or "wiring loom", you will come up with some good hits.
