I bought my 993 in St Louis Last year and had it done at the dealer that had serviced the car (Plaza Motors). I was happy with their inspection. They found some small problems (window switch flakey and brake light out above the window) that the owner didnt know about. They told me based on their service records the brake fluid needed replaced etc. Someone in St Louis may know of another shop. Dan??? Good luck

I'd like to offer a big thank you to Dan for personally casting an eye on the 993 cabriolet I was considering buying ... we decided it was not the car for me. Had I flown the 1,300 miles to drive it home, it would not have met my (high) expectations. It's just another example of how great this community is and how it is populated with some terrific people who are always willing to help each other out. So, thanks again, Dan, and if I can return the favor to anyone considering a car in the Boston area, don't hesitate to ask.
