What goes here?
1998 C2S Tiptronic. I don’t recall seeing this opening on my 97 C2S manual...what is supposed to go here?
Found a pic with the cap in place on a tippy. Thanks guys!

I believe that's for a rubber vent clutch pipe.

Not if it's a Tiptronic. In that case, there is a plug that goes there to cap the hole. On a manual, yes, the clutch vent pipe goes there.

And I just remembered, if you have a tiptronic, I think there should actually be a plug there as the rubber pipe is just for manuals.

Yes, a vent rubber tube. Of no consequence, if it is missing other than maybe a state emissions inspector might call you on it.
It leads to a steel pipe directly below it. Now if no pipe is present I would just order the rubber plug so it looks finished.
