Felt bad that I didn't make it to DC/MD fun run this morning. So Keith/Kdurg and I are organizing one right here in our area(Richmond/Williamsburg/Norfolk Chesapeake/Va Beach/NC or wherever you're from or however far you're willing to drive from).

Sorry for the short fused notice, but we're thinking for a 'meet and drive' for those interested. 03 April, Saturday, say around 1PM, meet at Patrick Henry Mall (or a better venue if you have suggestion near it) at Newport News(I myself never been to Patrick Henry Mall, so if anyone is familiar in that area and has a sugestion exactly where to meet, post here. If not we'll find a spot in their parking lot). Talk about the cars for an hour or so, then drive down to Jenro's Coffee Shop(No Affiliation), Haygood Shopping Ctr in VA Beach(Distance: 33miles/via I-64 thru the tunnel).

At Jenro's Coffee Place, Car enthusiasts gathers there every Saturday afternoons, 3~9PM..Classic cars(Lots of Cadis, seen one Ronsenburg and Pierce Arrow)/some British makes/few Vipers and Corvettes and all sorts of enthusiasts with their prides. I figure if we show up with a bunch of Porsches, regulars there will have something new to look at. I go there every Saturday and always have fun talking to fellow enthusiasts. Jenro's Coffee serves some of the greatest steaks and burgers too(NA).

Hey gents, New to area. Really wanted to make the Baltimore/DC meet and drive but a new born and wife have me on a short leash. I'll definitely make this one. Count me in!

OK, this is not fair! I want to be there...but I have family in town...I'm leaving for San Jose the next day...BTW, does anyone know the way to San Jose? (sorry I couldn' resist!). Anyway, I will be there in spirit - hope you have as much fun as the day in Baltimore was.

Hoping the weather gets better. But I think I will have a good time definitely. I've been wanting to do a drive with fellow porschephiles specialy rennlisters. Such a bunch of great guys.

Your Fun Drive up there Mark, went real well reading and looking at all the pix posted. Looks like everyone had a blast. Specially that pleasant surprise you had at the end(Collection of real exocitics by the neighbor)!!

No, I was trying to make VIR, but I have too much work and still don't hav the new suspension yet. I'm going to try and do Schattenbaum's Summit DE and try to get the car dialed in.

I see. Good luck! Are the Motons in the shop just waiting for your car to come in to be installed? I saw those at Eurosport on 2 996s that they race preped. They look pretty bad. Never riden in one though.
