Default OZ Allegerita w/Michelin PS4

I'm anxious to try this tire on my 993 C2S project. Anyone tried them yet?

I plan to do 18X8.5 offset 53 OZ Allegerita and 18x10 offset 40 with the 235/40/18 and 285/35/18 sizes.

My C2S should weight about 2850lbs when the last work is completed and run at RS ride height.

Any concerns with this setup?
Bill

How? That's almost 2 thin adults lighter than mine.

For the tires, 285/35 is effectively like running slightly longer gearing, since stock is 285/30. For the fronts, I am running that. No issues. Steering is slightly heavier during parking.

My car weighed 2830lbs when corner balanced (have photo from previous owner; no idea if there was a splash of fuel in the tank)

Setup consisted of: widebody coupe, E88 wheels, sunroof delete, rear wiper delete, rear seat delete, RS carpet kit, Recaro Sportsters, RS door cards, trunk carpet/spare tire delete, LWFW, standard brakes. Believe that is about it that would affect the weight. Car also has aftermarket suspension and some other odds/ends.

I've since ditched the RS rear carpet kit and added back the soundproofing and rear seats. But I've added a lighter battery, removed the stock spoiler/motor for a lighter RS spoiler, ditched both airbags and added a lighter steering wheel which has offset the added weight by 35lbs. I'm also planning to ditch the rear blower (10 lbs) and there is plenty of weight to be saved over the stock exhaust setup, which is also on my radar.

I have OZ Allegerita and I’m running 245/40/18 and 285/35/18 with no problems.

Pilot Sport 4S, 225/40ZR-18 front, 265/35ZR-18 rear on MY02 wheels on my 95 NB, very happy. Much smoother ride and better grip than former Sumis.
