Post Wiper Blades

When I bought my 993, the wiper blades were all screwed up and out of alignment. I only just realized this so I will be fixing this weekend. Can anyone measure the length of their blades for the driver (left) and passenger side of the car so that I can get them back into spec? I would appreciate it. Both mine are the same size, and they do not even lay flat! Thanks

Go to an auto parts store that carries Bosch Microedge blades and they should have a fitment guide. I don't know the exact measurements but I think the lower arm uses a 2" shorter wiper.

15" and 18" - at my desk & not my car so from memory the shorter is the driver's side (or is it the passenger side )

I was wondering why my new blade sticks out off the windshield. <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" /> I guess I got em bass ackwards.

15" drivers side, 18" passenger side. For those of you who just want to replace the rubber inserts, WallMart carries Lexor brand, these work great in the OE blades. You'll need the E(narrow)
series. I got this tip from this board.

Have used these for both the Porsche and Audi. Shorter-lived than the OE Bosch, but cheaper and Wally-Mart hours are DARN better than your dealer.

Slight problem is it takes some dexterity to install - need to disassemble your present blades and try to hold the spring steel edge pieces together against the rubber while trying to insert the whole rubber/spring steel assembly back into the wiper blade frame.
